Manchester United and Liverpool FC are set to do battle to sign Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to reports in Germany.
German outlet Bild, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that the two Premier League outfits are both extremely interested in signing the teenager in the summer, but that they will also face competition from Bayern Munich for his signature.
Despite both Manchester United and Liverpool FC having potent attacking line-ups the same report says that both of the Premier League outfits will try and sign the 19-year-old American this summer.
Pulisic has been earning rave reviews for his strong performances for Borussia Dortmund this season, with the teenager having scored three goals and made two assists in 19 Bundesliga games this term.
It seems then, that the stage could be set for a three-way battle between Manchester United, Liverpool FC and Bayern Munich for the teenager’s signature this summer.
Manchester United have already recently bolstered their attacking line-up with the signing of Alexis Sanchez.
And Liverpool FC were quick to snap up Mohamed Salah from Roma last summer, with the Egyptian having been one of the Premier League’s top performers this season.
