Ryan Giggs predicts where Man United will finish next season
Ryan Giggs is certain that Man United have what it takes to win the Premier League title next season
Ryan Giggs is convinced that Manchester United have what it takes to win the Premier League title next season.
The Red Devils appear to have come up short in the race for the title this term, with Jose Mourinho’s men currently 13 points behind leaders Manchester City in the race for the top-flight crown.
Mourinho was appointed at Old Trafford back in May 2016 and he has been charged with becoming the first manager to guide the Red Devils to the Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s final campaign in charge in 2013.
The Red Devils certainly look poised to improve on their disappointing sixth-placed finish in the Premier League table last term as they bid to at least end up as runners-up to their bitter local rivals.
And former Manchester United midfielder Giggs feels convinced that the Red Devils have more than enough attacking quality at their disposal to win the title next term.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Giggs said: “Manchester United’s attacking players are, without a shadow of a doubt, capable of winning the Premier League next season.
“They’ve got pace, guile, goals, experience and make up a really top forward line.”
Manchester United will return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
The Red Devils were 2-0 winners over Huddersfield Town at Old Trafford last weekend as Alexis Sanchez scored his first goal for the club.
