Guillem Balague: Man United star has told team-mates he’s joining Real Madrid
Guillem Balague claims that David De Gea is already thinking about a move from Man United to Real Madrid

David De Gea has told some of his Spain team-mates that he is set to leave Manchester United to sign for Real Madrid, according to Guillem Balague.
The shot-stopper has long been linked with a move to the Spanish side and he came within a whisker of signing for Los Blancos back in September 2015 before the move collapsed at the final hour.
De Gea has developed into one of the world’s best goalkeepers at Old Trafford in recent years and he has regularly been proving his worth to the Red Devils with some sparkling displays.
Now, Spanish football expert Balague has revealed that Real Madrid will be looking to sign either De Gea or his Chelsea FC counterpart Thibaut Courtois in the summer transfer window.
And he also claims that De Gea has already informed some of his team-mates that he is looking to move to the Bernabeu.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Balague said: “I don’t think a new [Man United] contract is in the equation just yet.
“It’s definite that Real Madrid have got De Gea or Thibaut Courtois as a target for next season.
“I think Courtois is easier. De Gea actually told team-mates in the national side that he was going to Real Madrid, as you’ve seen in the last couple of years, it’s not as easy as that.
“Courtois would also be happy to go to Madrid, and Real have it in their mind to go for one or the other.
“PSG are also after Courtois, so we’ll have to see what happens with that.”
Meanwhile, De Gea will be expecting to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Premier League action with a trip to Newcastle United next Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils have not won the Premier League title since their final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013.
