Craig Bellamy: I’d be shocked if Man United star didn’t join Real Madrid
Former Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy believes Man United No1 David De Gea will eventually end up at Real Madrid

Craig Bellamy has admitted that he would be shocked if Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea didn’t end up at Real Madrid.
The Spain international has emerged as the Premier League’s leading goalkeeper over the past four or five seasons.
The 27-year-old came close to a move to La Liga giants in the 2015 summer transfer window but a deal fell through on La Liga’s deadline day.
De Gea has knuckled down and continued to be one of Manchester United’s best players despite the disappointment of missing out on a move.
Real Madrid are rumoured to be interested in signing a new goalkeeper in the summer following a disastrous season for the Spanish giants.
De Gea would be a natural fit given his previous success at their bitter rivals Atletico Madrid before his move to Old Trafford in 2011.
Former Liverpool FC striker Bellamy tipped De Gea to leave Manchester United and complete a move to Real Madrid in the near future.
“Usually every top club has a rebuild and maybe it has been a little bit more overdue with Madrid because of the success of they have had in the Champions League,” Bellamy told The Debate on Sky Sports.
“But I see De Gea being a huge part of that and Real Madrid do spend money, they always have done, they have been quiet over the last few years.
“So probably due to the fact that it will take a huge fee to get him and prise him away from Man United, I would be shocked if he did not go.”
Manchester United signed De Gea in an £18m deal from La Liga giants Atletico Madrid in the 2011 summer transfer window.
The Spanish shot stopper has won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, the Europa League and the League Cup during his spell at Atletico.
