Mourinho to splash Man United summer budget on signing to keep Pogba happy – report
The Manchester United manager is ready to sign a new midfielder to complement Paul Pogba in the summer, according to a report in England

Jose Mourinho is ready to spend the majority of Manchester United’s summer transfer budget on a new midfielder to appease Paul Pogba, according to a report in England.
Manchester Evening News, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Red Devils boss is ready to splash a huge fee on another midfielder to free up Pogba in the middle of the park.
The France international has struggled as part of a midfield duo alongside Nemanja Matic in recent weeks following Manchester United’s disappointing losses to Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.
Pogba has struggled to fulfill his defensive responsibilities in the Red Devils team, while the club record signing has found his attacking prowess blunted in a deeper role.
Real Madrid have been linked with a potential swoop to sign the French midfielder over the past week given his frustration at Old Trafford.
However, Manchester Evening News claims that Mourinho is prepared to splurge the majority of his summer transfer budget on a top midfielder to complement Matic and Pogba.
Napoli’s Jorginho, Nice’s Jean-Michael Serri and Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic Savic are three potential targets for the Red Devils after being linked with the Old Trafford side over the past 12 months.
