Emerson Palmieri looks like he is settling in well to life at Chelsea FC after having signed for the Blues from Roma last week.

The 23-year-old Brazilian defender has put pen to paper on a long-term contract with the Blues as the west London side moved quickly to bolster their rearguard options in the mid-season transfer window.

Emerson will be linking up with his fellow countryman David Luiz at Stamford Bridge and he will surely be looking towards the 30-year-old to help him settle into life at Stamford Bridge.

And it seems that the pair are already getting on well as they posed for a picture together during a training session at Cobham last week, shown above.

Chelsea FC are currently preparing for their Premier League trip to Watford on Monday night as they bid to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.

The west London side dropped down into fourth place in the table in midweek after a shock defeat by Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

Chelsea FC will be out to claim the minimum requirement of a top-four finish this season as Antonio Conte looks to steer the Blues to Champions League qualification in his second season in charge at the club.
