Mark Lawrenson is backing Manchester United to ease past Sevilla in the Champions League last-16.
The Red Devils will make the trip to Spain for the first leg of the knockout clash on Wednesday night.
Manchester United have lost their last two Premier League games on the road following a 2-0 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur and a 1-0 loss at Newcastle United.
The 20-time English champions returned to winning ways last weekend with a 2-0 win at Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup fifth round.
Liverpool FC finished ahead of Sevilla in their Champions League group but the Reds failed to beat the La Liga outfit home and away.
The Reds drew 2-2 with Sevilla at Anfield back in September before Jurgen Klopp’s squandered a 3-0 lead to end up with a 3-3 stalemate with the La Liga side.
Former Liverpool FC defender believes Manchester United will book their place in the Champions League quarter-finals with a win over the two legs.
“Man United will beat Sevilla,” Lawrenson told BBC Radio 5 Live. “Man United will get through the tie.”
