Gary Lineker took to social media to lavish praise on Harry Kane after the striker’s brilliant headed goal in Tottenham’s 1-0 win over Arsenal in the Premier League at Wembley on Saturday lunchtime.

After a goalless first half at Wembley, Kane rose highest to head home a quality effort in the 49th minute to put his side ahead.

Kane has been in sensational form for Tottenham this season, and has now netted 23 goals in the Premier League this term.

And former England star Lineker took to social media to celebrate Kane’s goal early in the second half at Wembley.

Lineker wrote on Twitter: “Who else but the remarkable @HKane.”

The win left Spurs seven points ahead of their bitter local rivals in the Premier League table.

Tottenham Hotspur will return to action when they take on Juventus in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 clash on Tuesday night.

The Lilywhites are aiming to finish in the top four this season as they bid to qualify for the Champions League once again under Mauricio Pochettino.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are facing an uphill struggle to get back into the top four and their best hope of Champions League qualification may be winning the Europa League this term.

The Gunners finished in fifth place and had to settle for a place in the Europa League this term.
