Martin Keown is backing Arsenal to ease to a 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners will make the short trip to the home of English football in the weekend’s early fixture with a place in the top four up for grabs this season.

Arsenal were 5-1 winners against Everton at The Emirates last weekend thanks to Aaron Ramsey’s hat-trick as well as goals from new signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Laurent Koscielny.

Arsene Wenger’s side have a miserable away record in the Premier League this season following four draws and six losses in 13 fixtures on the road.

Tottenham have been in great form over the past week following a 2-0 win against Manchester United at Wembley before a credible 2-2 draw with third-placed Liverpool FC.

Kane has scored 22 goals in 25 games in the Premier League this season and will fancy his chances against an Arsenal side that have conceded 34 times in 26 top-flight fixtures.

Former Arsenal defender Keown is tipping the Gunners to secure a point against their bitter rivals Tottenham at Wembley.

Keown told the Daily Mail: “Given Arsenal’s dreadful away form, this should be a Tottenham win… but I am going for a 1-1 draw.”

Arsenal will take on Premier League leaders Manchester City in the League Cup final at Wembley later this month.
