Ousmane Dembele is angling for a move to Arsenal from FC Barcelona this summer to secure a reunion with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according a report in Spain.

Spanish outlet Don Balon, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that the France international has grown disillusioned at the La Liga leaders following a difficult debut campaign at Camp Nou.

Dembele suffered a serious hamstring problem on his FC Barcelona debut in August to rule the 20-year-old out of action for four months.

The 20-year-old has started five games and has made a further four appearances from the bench in a disappointing debut campaign at the Catalan side.

The same article states that Dembele is keen to reunite with Aubameyang at Arsenal following their impressive spell together at Borussia Dortmund.

FC Barcelona signed Dembele in a £100m deal from Dortmund in the 2017 summer transfer window to help fill the void left by Neymar.

Arsenal signed Aubameyang in a club record £58m deal from the Bundesliga giants in transfer deadline day in the January transfer window.

The Gunners striker has netted three times and has made one assist in five appearances in the Premier League this term.

The north London outfit haven’t won the Premier League title since 2004.
