Steve Bould has revealed that Jack Wilshere will be available for Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Stoke City at The Emirates on Sunday.

The midfielder has been training with his Arsenal team-mates this week after having picked up a knee injury but he should be ready to feature for the Gunners when they take on the Potters at The Emirates this weekend.

The injury forced Wilshere to withdraw from the England squad for the recent friendlies against Italy and the Netherlands but it is not thought to be serious.

Speaking at a news conference at London Colney on Thursday, Bould said: “Jack Wilshere trained yesterday [Wednesday] so he’s OK. Everybody else has come back as far as we are aware.”

Wilshere’s future continues to be a source of speculation at Arsenal, with the 26-year-old’s contract set to expire at the end of the season.

It remains to be seen whether the midfielder will sign a new deal in the coming weeks or if he will end up leaving his boyhood club on a free transfer.

Arsenal will return to Europa League action on Thursday when they host CSKA Moscow in the first leg of their quarter-final clash at The Emirates.

With the Gunners currently sixth in the Premier League, their best hope of qualifying for the Champions League will be to win the Europa League this season.
