Antonio Conte has once again underlined Chelsea FC’s target of finishing in the top four and winning the FA Cup this season.

The Blues are currently faced with an uphill struggle to break back into the Champions League qualification spots in the Premier League as they prepare to host Tottenham at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

Chelsea FC are in fifth place and five points behind Spurs as they look to try and get their campaign back on track and end the season on a high.

The west London side are also set to take on Southampton at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-finals next month as the Blues look to try and go one step further than they did in the competition last season.

Chelsea FC know that victory over Spurs on Sunday would leave them just two points behind the Lilywhites and blow the race for Champions League qualification wide open again.

And the Chelsea FC manager has talked up the importance of the Blues trying to end the campaign on a high after a difficult few weeks for the club.

Speaking at a news conference at Cobham on Thursday, Conte said: “Our target for this final [stretch] of the season is to take a place in the Champions League and reach the final of the FA Cup.

“If we win on Sunday we’ll go very close to Tottenham. Otherwise it will be difficult to take a place in the Champions League.”

Chelsea FC won the Premier League title in style last season in Conte’s first campaign in charge.
