Tiemoue Bakayoko took to social media to applaud Olivier Giroud after the Chelsea FC striker scored in France’s friendly with Colombia on Friday night.

The Chelsea FC striker scored the opening goal in France’s 3-2 friendly defeat by the South American side on Friday night, with Thomas Lemar netting the other goal for Les Bleus.

Bakayoko has not been called up to the France squad for their games this month but the Chelsea FC midfielder was cheering on from home as he celebrated his team-mate netting the opening goal for his national side.

Bakayoko shared the picture above on his personal Instagram story on Friday night as he watched the game from the comfort of his sofa.

Bakayoko will be hoping to feature for Chelsea FC when the Blues return to Premier League action after the international break with a home clash against top-four rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge.

The west London side are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table as they look to try and break back into the top four before the season is out.

Chelsea FC won the Premier League title last season and they will take on Southampton for a place in the FA Cup final next month.
