Eden Hazard has insisted that he is happy to play anywhere on the pitch for Chelsea FC under Antonio Conte.

The Belgian playmaker cut a frustrated figure when he was deployed up front on his own in Chelsea FC’s 1-0 loss to Manchester City in the Premier League at The Etihad in recent weeks.

Hazard has struggled to produce consistent form for the Blues in recent weeks, with the 27-year-old having failed to score since 12 February and with his last assist coming back on 25 February.

The 27-year-old looked frustrated when he was deployed alone up front in the Premier League clash with Manchester City at the start of March, prompting suggestions that he could be unhappy at the way he is being managed by Conte.

However, the Belgium international has insisted that he is willing to play anywhere for the Blues as long as he is deployed on the pitch.

Speaking at a news conference on Monday night, Hazard said: “I just want to be on the pitch.

“Number nine, 10, I can play left-back if the manager wants, no problem.

“I just want to be on the pitch and try to give everything like I do every time.”

Hazard will be hoping to feature for Chelsea FC when the Blues return to Premier League action on Sunday with a crunch clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are currently fifth in the table as they aim to break back into the Champions League qualification spots before the season is out.
