Cesc Fabregas wasted no time in jetting off to warmer climes after helping Chelsea FC to book their place in the FA Cup semi-finals on Sunday.

The Spanish midfielder has not been picked for his national side’s forthcoming friendly clashes and so he will use the international break to get some much needed sun and recharge his batteries ahead of the closing stages of the season.

The 30-year-old played 45 minutes of Chelsea FC’s 2-1 FA Cup victory over Leicester City on Sunday as the Blues needed extra-time to secure their spot in the semi-finals.

And Fabregas clearly did not waste any time as he jetted off to warmer weather immediately after the win.

Fabregas posted the picture above of himself putting his feet up in the sun on his personal Instagram story on Monday morning.

Chelsea FC do not return to Premier League action until after the international break, when they host Tottenham Hotspur in a crunch top-four showdown at Stamford Bridge on 1 April.

The west London side are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table as they look to try and break back into the top four before the season is out.
