N’Golo Kante is backing Olivier Giroud to help fire Chelsea FC to a victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Giroud has been settling into life at Stamford Bridge after having signed for the Blues from Arsenal in the January transfer window.

The 31-year-old has scored one goal so far for his new club and he will be looking to enjoy a strong end to the campaign as he bids to earn a spot in the World Cup squad with France.

Giroud will be hoping to start for Chelsea FC when the Blues host their London rivals in what will be a crunch top-four clash at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

And Chelsea FC midfielder Kante is tipping Giroud to get amongst the goals and fire the Blues to victory over Spurs this weekend.

Kante is quoted as saying by Metro: “They [goals for Giroud] will come – and maybe against Tottenham next weekend. Hopefully he will score, and we can win that game.”

Chelsea FC are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table as they look to try and secure a spot in the top four before the season is out.

The Blues are looking to break back into the top four and also win the FA Cup this season. They will take on Southampton in the semi-finals at Wembley next month.
