Giroud has been settling into life at Stamford Bridge since signing for the Blues from their London rivals Arsenal in the mid-season transfer window.
The 31-year-old striker was deemed to be surplus to requirements at Arsenal by Arsene Wenger after he had struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team at The Emirates this season.
Giroud will now be looking to earn a regular place in Antonio Conte’s side between now and the end of the season as he aims to find his best form before this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
The striker has netted one goal in all competitions since his move to west London this summer.
And Chelsea FC midfielder Kante insists that he is expecting to see Giroud hit top form for the Blues soon.
Kante is quoted as saying by Metro: “We know Olivier is a goal-scorer, he has scored many goals already in the Premier League for Arsenal and he has still not played that many games for Chelsea.
“Even last season he got a lot of goals and he wasn’t starting all the matches for Arsenal. We are not worried that he will soon start getting goals for Chelsea in the Premier League, and he should not be worried either.”
Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action after the international break with a crunch clash against Tottenham at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
