Chelsea FC have been handed a potential injury boost ahead of their clash with Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday after Ross Barkley was pictured in training at Cobham.
The England midfielder has been getting used to life at Stamford Bridge since signing for the Blues from Everton in the January transfer window.
However, the 24-year-old has been struggling with a muscular injury in recent weeks and that has ruled him out of Chelsea FC’s last few games.
He was not involved as Chelsea FC slumped to a disappointing 2-1 loss to Manchester United in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
However, it would appear that the England midfielder is now closing in on a return to action for the Blues after he was filmed taking part in training at Chelsea FC’s Cobham base this week.
The video was shared on the official Chelsea FC Instagram account as Antonio Conte’s men prepare for their crunch clash against the league leaders at The Etihad.
Chelsea FC’s loss to Manchester United caused them to drop out of the top four and down into fifth place in the Premier League table.
The Blues won the Premier League title in Antonio Conte’s first campaign in charge at the club last season.
