The 25-year-old striker has been settling into life at Stamford Bridge after having signed for the Blues from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window last year.
Morata was omitted from the recent Spain squad for their friendly games after having struggled for both form and fitness in the opening stages of the campaign.
The striker scored his first goal since Boxing Day when he netted the opener in Chelsea FC’s FA Cup win over Leicester City before the international break.
Morata has been focusing on his own game in recent weeks and has been training hard at Cobham during the international break as he bids to regain both his form and fitness for the closing stages of the campaign.
And Conte has been delighted by the way Morata has been applying himself in recent days as Chelsea FC prepare to host their London rivals this weekend.
Speaking at a news conference on Thursday at Cobham, Conte said: “This period was very important for Alvaro,
“He has worked very well and he needed to work hard. He was out for one month and a half with his back problem.
“Now he is really fit, 100 per cent and ready to have a final end to the season for Chelsea and then for him to have a chance for the World Cup.”
Chelsea FC are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table as they look to try and break back into the top four before the season is out.
