The Spanish striker scored Chelsea FC’s opening goal with a cool finish in the first half of the Blues’ 2-1 FA Cup quarter-final win at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.
Morata, 25, has been struggling for form and fitness at Chelsea FC in recent months as he continues to adapt to life at Stamford Bridge following his transfer from Real Madrid in the summer.
Indeed, his goal against the Foxes at the weekend was his first strike for Chelsea FC since Boxing Day after what has been a difficult few months for the striker.
However, his Spanish team-mate has insisted that he is now expecting to see Morata hit top form again as he bids to enjoy a strong end to the season with the west London club.
Speaking to Chelsea FC’s website, Pedro said: “I’m very happy for Alvaro to score again and hopefully that will give him the confidence to score more.
“Alvaro is a very good player and an important part of our team.
“It’s important for him to score and to help the side and hopefully he can continue to do that until the end of the season.”
Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action after the international break when they take on Tottenham Hotspur in a crunch top-four showdown at Stamford Bridge on Sunday 1 April.
The Blues are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table as they bid to break back into the Champions League qualification spots before the end of the campaign.
