Pedro believes Chelsea FC are in a “good moment” ahead of the visit of Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge in their next Premier League game.

The defending champions edged to a 2-1 extra-time win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in the FA Cup quarter-final last weekend.

Pedro netted a 105th-minute winner to set up a last-four meeting with Premier League rivals Southampton at Wembley.

The Blues will switch their focus back to the Premier League following the international break with a top-four place up for grabs.

Antonio Conte’s side have lost four of their last six Premier League games to fall out of the top four.

Chelsea FC are five points adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur with eight games to play in the 2017-18 Premier League season.

Pedro, though, believes Chelsea FC will be feeling very confident ahead of their London derby at Stamford Bridge on Sunday 1 April.

“Now is a good moment because of this win and there is a good atmosphere in the changing room,” Pedro told Chelsea FC’s website.

“We have the international break now, so hopefully we can recover a few players that aren’t with their national teams and then come back and prepare well for Spurs.

“It’s very important for us to try and get the three points against them.”

Chelsea FC won the Premier League title in two of the past three seasons under Jose Mourinho and then his permanent successor Antonio Conte.

The Blues signed England international Ross Barkley, AS Roma defender Emerson Palmieri and Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window.
