Alvaro Morata has taken to social media to wish N’Golo Kante a happy birthday after the Chelsea FC midfielder turned 27 on Thursday.

Morata has been settling into life as a Chelsea FC player after having signed for the Blues from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window last year.

The Spanish striker has been getting used to playing alongside Kante at Stamford Bridge after having completed his move to the west London side.

Kante helped Chelsea FC to win the Premier League in Antonio Conte’s first season at the club last term and he is widely regarded to be one of world football’s top holding midfielders.

Morata posted the picture above on his personal Instagram story and wrote the caption: “Happy birthday @nglkante.”

Both Kante and Morata will be hoping to feature for Chelsea FC when the Blues return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon with a crunch top four clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham are currently fourth in the table and five points ahead of fourth-placed Chelsea FC as the race for Champions League qualification this season hots up.

Chelsea FC finished top of the table last season but they have struggled to produce consistent form in the top flight this term.
