Antonio Conte has warned his Chelsea FC players not to underestimate the threat posed by Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday’s crunch Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.

The west London side are preparing to welcome the Lilywhites to Stamford Bridge in what is set to be a crunch top-four showdown between the two sides.

Chelsea FC are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table and they know that a victory would move them to within two points of Spurs as the race for Champions League qualification hots up.

It has been something of a disappointing campaign for Conte’s men so far this season, with the Blues having been dumped out of the Champions League by FC Barcelona to leave them fighting for a top-four finish and the FA Cup title.

Tottenham are aiming to beat Chelsea FC to a top-four finish in the Premier League, and Conte has warned his players that they will have their work cut out against the Lilywhites.

Speaking at a news conference at Cobham on Thursday, Blues boss Conte said: “We are talking about a really good team, with a good manager and many talented players in this team.

“I have great respect for Tottenham because in the last few years, they have grown a lot and are now one of the best teams in England.”

Chelsea FC won the Premier League title in style last season but they struggled to produce consistent form in the top flight this term.
