The 23-year-old has been attracting some interest from the Premier League following his eye-catching performances under Gennaro Gattuso this term.
The Italy international has impressed at centre-half in the Milan team following in the footsteps of some of the clubs legends such as Paolo Maldini and Alessandro Nesta.
Ramagnoli has contributed three goals in 35 games in all competitions this season to attract reported interest from defending Premier League champions Chelsea FC.
Blues boss Antonio Conte has an extensive knowledge of Serie A from his spell in charge of Juventus and the Italian national team.
However, AC Milan director Massimiliano Mirabelli insisted that the Italian club do not plan to sell Romagnoli.
“We want Alessio Romagnoli to remain for a long time and we are already talking to his agent,” Mirabelli told TMW.
“We trust all our players can accompany us for a long while yet.”
Milan signed Romagnoli in a €25m (£20m) deal from AS Roma in the 2015 summer transfer window.
AS Roma would be entitled to 30 per cent of the centre-half’s transfer fee if it exceeds €25m (£20m).
Chelsea FC have signed Marcos Alonso and Davide Zappacosta from Serie A clubs since Conte’s appointment in 2016.
