Anthony Martial was quick to take to Twitter to praise Manchester United for their 3-2 win at Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday night.

The Red Devils started the Premier League clash in third place in the Premier League table following Liverpool FC’s 2-0 win against Newcastle United at Anfield last weekend.

Manchester United conceded an early goal after Andros Townsend’s strike deflected off Victor Lindelof and past stranded David De Gea at Selhurst Park.

The Red Devils made a disastrous start to the second half when Patrick van Aanholt doubled the home side’s lead to put Palace in control of the Premier League clash.

Manchester United managed to get a foothold in the Premier League tie when Chris Smalling netted a header with 35 minutes to go.

The 20-time English champions were level 21 minutes later when Romelu Lukaku managed to keep his composure and fire past Wayne Hennessey.

Manchester United completed their comeback in added time when Nemanja Matic netted a volley from outside the area to seal three points.

And Martial, who wasn’t part of the match day squad, praised his Manchester United team-mates on Twitter following their five-goal thriller.

Martial wrote on Twitter: “Well done guys 👊🏾”
