Paul Ince is confident Manchester United will ease to a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday night.

The Red Devils are looking to wrap up second place in the Premier League table with Manchester City sitting 16 points clear at the top of the table.

Manchester United are two points ahead of third-placed Liverpool FC ahead of their meeting at Old Trafford on Saturday 10 March.

The 20-time English champions have lost their last two Premier League games on the road following defeats at Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Red Devils will make the trip to the English capital in search of successive Premier League victories for the first time since the end of January.

Former Manchester United midfielder Ince is tipping the Red Devils to ease to a comfortable win over Crystal Palace on Monday night.

“That win over Chelsea last week was crucial for Man United,” Ince told the Daily Express.

“You could see how much their confidence had dropped recently.

“It was also Romelu Lukaku’s best game in a red kit, and I’m going to back him to go on and have another great game on Monday night.”

Roy Hodgson’s side have failed to win their last five Premier League games to leave the Eagles above the relegation zone on goal difference.

Manchester United will take on Sevilla in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 clash at Old Trafford on Tuesday 13 March.

The Red Devils signed Alexis Sanchez in a swap deal from Arsenal in the January transfer window.
