The 25-year-old moved to Liverpool FC in a £39m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma in the summer transfer window.
Salah hit the ground running with a goal on his Liverpool FC debut in a 3-3 draw with Watford at Vicarage Road in their season opener.
The African forward netted four times in a 5-0 victory over Watford after Salah netted four times at Anfield last weekend.
The 25-year-old attacker has scored 28 times in 30 games in the Premier League in the current campaign.
Salah has netted a further eight times in cup competitions to help Liverpool FC to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
Former Liverpool FC legend Rush lifted the lid on what he has heard about Salah’s performance levels in training from some of the Egyptian’s team-mates.
“I think in training, you’re exactly the same,” Rush told ESPN. “You go out there with confidence and all that. If you think about getting injured, then you will get injured.
“Off the pitch as well, you feel really comfortable doing everything. You take that into training.
“I’ve heard some of the Liverpool players say how fantastic Salah has been — that’s in training, not just in the games. That comes across to me that he’s in a purple patch.”
The Reds finished in fourth place in the Premier League last term to secure a return to the Champions League in Klopp’s first full season.
Salah has netted 36 in all competitions in the current campaign to shine at the Anfield outfit.
Liverpool FC are in third place in the Premier League table and two points behind Manchester United.
