The African forward has also netted eight times in cup competitions to help Liverpool FC reach the Champions League quarter-finals ahead of their clash against Manchester City next month.
Former Tottenham star Mason believes Liverpool FC signed the perfect player to fit Klopp’s system at Anfield.
“Salah is the exact player Klopp wanted,” Mason told Sky Sports.
“The way Liverpool play – the high pressing game and the speed of their attack. It suited the player. He has been phenomenal.”
The Reds are in third place in the Premier League table and two points adrift of Manchester United.
Liverpool FC haven’t won the Premier League title but appear to be making good progress under Klopp.
