Former Liverpool FC defender Lawrenson claimed that Salah has made a more impressive start than any other Premier League signing in history.
“I’ve never seen anything like it,” Lawrenson told BBC Sport. “You run out of words to describe his performances.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table to secure a return to the Champions League after a two-season absence.
The Reds signed Netherlands international Virgil van Dijk in a £75m deal from Premier League rivals Southampton in the January transfer window.
The Merseyside outfit will return to Premier League action on Saturday when they travel to Crystal Palace looking to build on their 5-0 win over Watford last time out.
