Paul Ince is confident Mohamed Salah won’t prove a one-season wonder at Liverpool FC.

The Reds forward has sparkled in Jurgen Klopp’s team this term following his £39m move from Serie A giants AS Roma in the 2017 summer transfer window.

Salah has been a revelation with a staggering return of 28 goals in 30 games in the Premier League to sit at the top of the division’s goal-scoring charts.

The Liverpool FC forward has also netted eight times in the cup competitions this term to help the Merseyside outfit reach the Champions League quarter-finals.

Salah had a good goal-scoring record in Serie A with Fiorentina and AS Roma but the African forward never surpassed the 15-goal mark in a top-flight campaign.

The Egypt international has already scored more goals in a season than Liverpool FC legends Luis Suarez and Fernando Torres.

Some pundits have suggested that Salah will struggle to maintain his prolific form in the 2018-19 campaign.

However, former Liverpool FC midfielder Ince doesn’t believe Salah will prove a one-season wonder.

“Next year, if he’s at the club, I can guarantee he won’t be a one-season wonder,” Ince told Paddy Power.

“We’ve seen that plenty of times, but he’s a real rare talent. Liverpool will be in Europe again; they’ll have some new additions in the team and he will easily net 30 goals.

“He’s only 25-years-old, he still has plenty of time. He must be enjoying his football, and he’s at a club which have a very good team and manager, and will allow him to play exactly how he wants. He could end up regretting throwing that away, and potentially being sat on another team’s bench.”

Salah will be hoping to fire Liverpool FC to victory over Premier League leaders Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals next month.

The Reds have finished in second place in 2002, 2009 and 2014.
