Portuguese outlet Mi Otra Liga, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that Liverpool FC have picked AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson as their number one target this summer but they could be put off by the Italian side’s valuation of the Brazilian.
The Reds are reportedly being told to shell out as much as £70m to secure the services of Alisson this summer, and that is believed to be out of Liverpool FC’s price range.
The same story says that could mean that the Reds turn to other options – and that FC Porto goalkeeper Casillas could be their top target to strengthen between the posts this summer.
The 36-year-old was given a standing ovation after the second leg of Liverpool FC’s Champions League clash with FC Porto earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Liverpool FC are currently preparing for a return to Premier League action and their trip to Crystal Palace in the top flight on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds are currently in third place in the Premier League table as they look to try and secure a top-four finish this term.
