Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Reds are already making a move to try and sign the 21-year-old Spaniard as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his squad this summer.
The central midfielder has been limited to just nine appearances in La Liga this season under Zinedine Zidane and he is reported to be keen on a move away from the Spanish side to earn some more regular playing time.
The same story says that the midfielder is likely to be allowed to leave the Spanish club this summer and that Liverpool FC and AS Roma are the clubs most likely to sign him.
According to the same article, Jurgen Klopp has picked out Ceballos as a top target for Liverpool FC, who look set to lose Emre Can when his contract at Anfield expires in the summer.
The story states that Can is expected to sign for Juventus this summer on a free transfer and although Liverpool FC are set to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig in June, the Reds are still apparently after another midfielder.
