Ian Wright believes Liverpool FC are having an incredible season under Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds cemented their place in the Premier League’s top four earlier this month with a 2-0 win over Newcastle United.

Liverpool FC eased to a comfortable win courtesy of goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane either side of half-time.

The Merseyside outfit had won their last four games in all competitions following victories over Huddersfield, West Ham, Porto and Newcastle.

However, they slumped to a disappointing 2-1 loss to Manchester United in the top flight at Old Trafford last weekend to leave them fourth in the table.

Liverpool FC were 5-0 winners against Portugal in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash last month.

The 18-time English champions have already scored more than 100 goals in all competitions under Liverpool FC boss.

Former Arsenal striker Wright praised Klopp’s side for having a brilliant season under the German coach.

“Liverpool are having an unbelievable season in respects of what they’re doing,” Wright told BBC Radio 5 live.

Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term to secure a Champions League spot.

The Reds are looking to win the Champions League for the first time since 2005 when Liverpool FC beat AC Milan on penalties.
