The 25-year-old versatile midfielder is a player in demand following an impressive series of performances throughout the 2017-18 campaign.
Doucoure has scored seven goals and has made two assists in 30 appearances in the Premier League this season so far.
The Frenchman, who is thought to be valued at around £40m, has attracted reported interest from Arsenal and Manchester United.
Liverpool FC have also been linked with Doucoure as the Reds prepare for Emre Can’s potential exit at the end of the current season.
Doucoure’s energetic style would be a good fit for Jurgen Klopp’s preferred style of play at the Merseyside outfit.
And the Watford midfielder has opened the door to a potential move to Liverpool FC in the summer.
“Liverpool is a club that needs no introduction,” Doucoure told French media outlet Canal Plus.
“I was impatient to play there at Anfield, I wanted to feel the atmosphere. For me it would be a dream to play for a club like this.”
Doucoure moved to Watford from French club Rennes in the 2016 January transfer window but the midfielder spent the first half of the 2015-16 season on loan at La Liga club Granada.
The France Under-21 international has netted a respectable eight goals in 46 appearances in all competitions during the past two seasons at London club Watford.
