The Egypt international scored four times in Liverpool FC’s 5-0 win over Watford at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Salah is sitting at the top of the goal-scoring charts following the Liverpool FC star’s impressive return of 28 goals in 30 top-flight outings.
The African forward has netted a further eight goals in the cup competitions this term to help Liverpool FC reach the Champions League last four.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a potential move to La Liga giants Real Madrid in recent weeks as Zinedine Zidane looks to overhaul his Real Madrid squad.
Liverpool FC sold Philippe Coutinho in a £146m deal to FC Barcelona in the January transfer window, while Luis Suarez moved to Camp Nou from the Reds in a £65m transfer in 2014.
Former Arsenal striker Wright doesn’t expect Real Madrid to move for Salah until the African forward produces a second prolific season at Liverpool FC.
“Anyone that has come into the Premier League and scored that amount of goals, you’re going to court that kind of attention,” Wright told Sky Sports’ The Debate.
“I didn’t think he’d have that kind of impact, but when you have had such an impact, you are going to court attention. What clubs will have seen with Liverpool is that if you keep pressing for one of their players, you might get them in the end.
“This is the problem Liverpool will have. If Salah continues this kind of scoring next season, they will be courting him.
“Not being disrespectful to Liverpool, but Salah won’t have grown up dreaming of playing for Liverpool – if Real Madrid come knocking, he’s going to be taking notice of that.
“Losing Salah would be a much bigger loss than losing Coutinho.”
Liverpool FC are in third place in the Premier League table and two points behind second-placed Manchester United in the race to finish as runners-up to Manchester City.
