The Egypt international moved to the Reds in a £39m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma in the 2017 summer transfer window.
Salah struggled during an eight-month stint at Stamford Bridge before he moved on loan to Fiorentina in 2014.
Jurgen Klopp signed Salah following his impressive spell at AS Roma, scoring 15 times in 31 games in Serie A last term.
The African forward scored four goals in a 5-0 win over Watford in the Premier League last weekend.
Salah’s four-goal haul took his tally to 36 goals in all competitions to lead the European goal-scoring charts.
Real Madrid have been linked with a potential swoop to sign Salah in recent weeks given his prolific goal-scoring form.
Former Spurs forward Crooks is anticipating a big offer from La Liga giants Real Madrid for Salah at the end of the season.
“Everything this man touches seems to turn to gold. Thirty-six goals in 41 appearances for Liverpool is quite extraordinary,” Crooks told BBC Sport.
He added: “Liverpool fans may have to brace themselves, however, for an audacious bid from Real Madrid in the summer. This lad is having the same impact across Europe as Gareth Bale had in his final season at Tottenham. And we all know what happened after that.”
Liverpool FC will take on Premier League leaders Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals next month.
The Reds haven’t won the Premier League title but finished in second place in 2002, 2009 and 2014.
