Ian Wright believes Liverpool FC forward Roberto Firmino could be a target for Bayern Munich this summer.

The Brazil international has been in scintillating form for the Reds throughout the 2017-18 season so far.

Firmino has netted 14 times and has made seven assists in 30 appearances in the Premier League this term.

The South American has also scored eight goals in nine games in the Champions League group stage to help Liverpool FC reach the quarter-finals.

Bayern could sell Poland international Robert Lewandowski to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

Former Arsenal striker Wright believes if Lewandowski does quit Bayern, the Bundesliga giants could look at Firmino.

“They are talking about Lewandowski to Real Madrid,” Wright told Sky Sports. “If that happens Bayern want Bobby Firmino.

“Firmino is an excellent nine and a half. He is unbelievable.”

Liverpool FC signed Firmino in a £29m deal from Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim in the 2015 summer transfer window under Brendan Rodgers.

The Reds forward is still waiting to win his first piece of silverware since his lucrative move to the Merseyside outfit.

The 18-time English champions haven’t won the Champions League since 2005 when Rafael Benitez’s men beat AC Milan on penalties.

Liverpool FC will face Premier League leaders Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals next month.

The Merseyside outfit signed Virgil van Dijk in a club record deal from Southampton back in January.
