Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind will not be fit for Manchester United’s Premier League trip to Crystal Palace on Monday night.

The Red Devils head into the game looking to build on their impressive 2-1 victory over Chelsea FC at Old Trafford last weekend, as they came from a goal down to beat Antonio Conte’s men.

Manchester United have since had the week off to prepare for their Premier League trip to Palace on Monday night as Mourinho looks to steer his side to a top-four finish in the Premier League table.

Defensive trip Jones, Rojo and Blind have all been struggling with injury problems in recent weeks and Mourinho has confirmed that none of them will be fit for the trip to Selhurst Park.

Speaking at a news conference at Manchester United’s Carrington training ground on Friday afternoon, Mourinho confirmed:

Manchester United are aiming to finish as high as possible in the Premier League table this season after they ended up in sixth place in the Premier League table last term.

The Red Devils did, however, manage to secure qualification for this season’s Champions League by beating Ajax in the Europa League final last term.
