Paul Ince has warned Luke Shaw that he is on his last chance at Manchester United.

The Red Devils defender has endured another controversial week at Manchester United after Jose Mourinho’s latest public criticism of the England international.

Shaw was withdrawn at half-time of Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup quarter-finals at Old Trafford last weekend.

The 22-year-old is being linked with a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur where he could link up with his former Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Shaw moved to Manchester United in £27m deal from Southampton in the 2014 summer transfer window after he established himself as an exciting left-back at St Mary’s.

The England starlet has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot at Old Trafford, while he suffered an unfortunate leg break when he appeared to have hit form in 2015.

Former Liverpool FC and Manchester United midfielder Ince warned Shaw that he is running out of chances at Old Trafford.

“Ashley Young is getting older, and Shaw should be grabbing the chance to be the first choice left-back with two hands, but he doesn’t seem interested,” Ince told Paddy Power.

“This is his last chance.”

Manchester United will take on Tottenham in the FA Cup semi-final next month.

The Red Devils are in second place in the Premier League table but 16 points behind runaway leaders Manchester City.
