Manchester United are facing a battle with Juventus to sign Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Sun is reporting that both the Red Devils and the Italian side are ready to battle it out for the signature of the Wales international, whose current contract at The Emirates is due to expire next summer.

According to the same story, Juventus want to pair Ramsey with departing Liverpool FC midfielder Emre Can in their side as they look to revamp their squad this summer.

However, the same report says that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has identified Ramsey as one of his top targets for the summer should Paul Pogba leave the club.

According to the same report, Arsenal have been “dithering” over offering Ramsey a new contract and have even failed to mention any kind of numbers to the midfielder.

Arsenal look set to miss out on Champions League football for the second successive season, with the Gunners currently sixth in the Premier League, unless they are able to win the Europa League this term.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will return to Premier League action on Saturday when they host Swansea City at Old Trafford.
