Antoine Griezmann has hinted that he would be keen on a transfer to Manchester United this summer by admitting that he would love to line up with Paul Pogba at club level.

The French attacker has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford and he was heavily touted as a target for the Red Devils in the summer transfer window last year.

However, he ended up staying at Atletico Madrid for another season despite talk of a move to Manchester United.

There is now bound to be fresh speculation linking Griezmann with a move to Old Trafford in the coming weeks and months as the summer window gives Jose Mourinho the chance to bolster his squad.

Pogba and Griezmann know each other well from their role together in the French national team and the Atletico Madrid star admits that he would love to line up with the Manchester United man on a more regular basis.

Speaking in an interview with Canal+, Griezmann said to Pogba: “It would be beautiful to play alongside you and win trophies.”

Manchester United will return to Premier League action after the international break when they take on Swansea City at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils are currently in second place in the Premier League table.
