Nemanja Matic has taken to social media to wish his wife Aleksandra a happy birthday.

The Serbian midfielder has been settling in well to life at Old Trafford after having signed for the Red Devils from Chelsea FC in the summer transfer window last year.

Matic has helped Manchester United up into second place in the Premier League table and has also played a part in the Red Devils’ run to the FA Cup semi-finals, where they will take on Tottenham Hotspur.

And Matic took to social media on Monday to send a special message to his Serbian wife.

He posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Happy birthday my ❤ @maticaleksandra! Volim te!”

Matic will be expecting to start for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Premier League action on Saturday with a home clash against Swansea City on Saturday.

The 29-year-old has been a regular fixture in the first team this season and has scored one goal and made one assist in 30 Premier League games in his first campaign at the club.

The Red Devils are aiming to finish as runners-up to Manchester City this season as they bid to secure qualification for next season’s Champions League.
