Spanish outlet Diario Gol, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Red Devils are pondering a big-money swoop for the Brazil international as the summer transfer window draws nearer.
The same report says that Manchester United could even be willing to let Paul Pogba move to PSG as part of the same deal as they bid to try and bring Neymar to Old Trafford this summer.
Pogba has been in and out of the first team at Manchester United in recent weeks and the report says that the Red Devils could use the French midfielder as part of the deal to lure Neymar to the club.
The article also says that Manchester United are willing to pay €300m (£261m) to land Neymar, and they are also prepared to offer the attacker €35m (£30m) in an annual salary.
The 26-year-old Neymar has scored 19 goals and made 13 assists in 20 Ligue 1 games for the French side so far this season.
He has also netted six times and made three assists in the Champions League for PSG, but his future at the French club has been a source of speculation in recent months.
Manchester United are likely to want to significantly bolster their squad this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to build a team capable of challenging Manchester City’s dominance of the Premier League next term.
