Pogba has found himself under the spotlight at Old Trafford in recent weeks after struggling for both form and fitness under the Portuguese coach.
The French midfielder has been in and out of the first team at Manchester United of late and he was dropped to the bench for the Red Devils’ recent 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
His lack of playing time in recent weeks has prompted suggestions that he could be sold by Manchester United in the summer transfer window as Jose Mourinho looks to revamp his squad.
However, Burley believes that there is only a 50 per cent chance that Pogba could be sold this summer because of the huge transfer fee the Red Devils paid Juventus to sign him back in 2016.
Speaking to ESPN FC, Burley said: “It is a tough one. I get the feeling if Mourinho could sell him, he will. He was a big investment.
“I think they will fight to find ways to get the best out of Pogba and bringing other players in to supplement him. Keep him on board, However, I am 50/50 on this one.”
Pogba will be hoping to prove his worth when the Red Devils return to Premier League action on Saturday with a home clash against Swansea City at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are currently second in the Premier League table as they chase a top-four finish this term.
