Jesse Lingard has warned Tottenham Hotspur that Manchester United are ready for one final push in the FA Cup ahead of their semi-final meeting at Wembley.

The Red Devils secured the place in the last-four draw thanks to a 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion in the quarter-final earlier this month.

Jose Mourinho was unhappy with his team’s performance against the Seagulls at Old Trafford despite a comfortable result.

Manchester United were pitted against fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur in the semi-final draw.

Spurs will have the advantage of playing at Wembley in the last-four clash, having temporarily moved to the home of English football while new White Hart Lane is being constructed.

Manchester United lost 2-0 to Spurs at Wembley in the Premier League back in February after Christian Eriksen’s second-minute strike and Phil Jones’ own goal.

Lingard has scored in two of the previous four rounds in the FA Cup to take his tally to 14 goals and four assists in 38 games in all competitions this term.

The England star is confident that Manchester United can kick on and beat Tottenham to secure their place in the FA Cup showpiece at Wembley.

“We’re always ready,” Lingard told Man United’s website.

“As a player you just enjoy playing and you want to play every minute of each and every game you can. There is a lot of motivation for us as a team to go and win the FA Cup and maintain that second place in the league.

“We get days here and there to recover and that helps keep you sharp and after this break everyone is raring to go now.”

Manchester United are looking to win the FA Cup for the second time in three seasons.
