The Reds fell behind early on at Selhurst Park when Luka Milivojevic netted from the penalty spot after Loris Karius fouled Wilfried Zaha.
However, Liverpool FC fought back after the break and Sadio Mane levelled for the visitors in the 49th minute when he converted James Milner’s cross.
And Salah was the hero once again when he fired home in the 84th minute to wrap up the three points for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
The result lifted Liverpool FC up into second place in the Premier League table ahead of Manchester United’s clash with Swansea City at Old Trafford later in the day on Saturday.
And Salah was clearly delighted to play his part once again as his 29th Premier League goal of the season handed the Reds all three points.
Salah told Sky Sports after the game: “The result is the most important thing, I helped the team get the three points.
“It is always a difficult game here, so we kept fighting and we had a good result.”
Asked about his goal, he added: “I expected the ball to come to me in that area – last game he [Andrew Robertson] also gave me a similar ball in that area – and in the end I scored.”
Salah will be hoping to have an equally telling impact when Liverpool FC return to Champions League action on Wednesday night with a home clash against Manchester City at Anfield in the quarter-finals.
