Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang took to Twitter to lavish praise on his Arsenal team-mates after the Gunners eased to a resounding 4-1 win over CSKA Moscow in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Wales international Aaron Ramsey broke the deadlock with a clinical finish in the ninth minute at the Emirates Stadium to help Arsenal make the perfect start to the first leg of their quarter-final clash.

Laurent Koscielny’s reckless challenge allowed Russian playmaker Aleksandr Golovin to equalise with a brilliant free-kick six minutes later to score an away goal at the Emirates Stadium.

However, summer signing Alexandre Lacazette restored Arsenal’s lead from the penalty spot to score in successive games since his return from injury.

Ramsey gave Arsenal a two-goal cushion with the pick of the goals in the first leg after he guided a delicate finish over CSKA Moscow goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev in the 28th minute in north London.

The Gunners sealed a resounding 4-1 win 10 minutes before half-time when Lacazette scored his second goal to put Arsene Wenger’s side in control of the tie.

And Aubameyang, who was cup tied for the Europa League clash, took to Twitter to celebrate the Gunners’ comfortable win.

Aubameyang wrote on Twitter: “What a Game 😱😁💪🏽 @Arsenal”

Arsenal are in sixth spot in the table.
