Antonio Conte has warned his Chelsea FC players to expect a tough clash against Burnley at Turf Moor on Thursday night.

The Blues will make the trip to the midlands looking to secure successive Premier League victories for the first time since 30 December.

Chelsea FC came from 2-0 down to record a 3-2 win against Southampton at St Mary’s last weekend courtesy of goals from Olivier Giroud and Eden Hazard.

The west London side have an outside chance of securing a top-four finish after Tottenham Hotspur were held to a 1-1 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

Chelsea FC can move to within five points of fourth-placed Tottenham with four games to play if Conte’s side manage to beat Burnley.

Sean Dyche’s men are in seventh place in the Premier League table and can hoist themselves above Arsenal with a win against the 2017 champions.

Burnley were 3-2 winners against Chelsea FC in their opening Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge in the 2017-18 season.

Speaking at his pre-match media conference ahead of Chelsea FC’s trip to Burnley, Conte warned his players about the threat that the Clarets will pose at Turf Moor on Thursday night.

“Tomorrow we have an important against a strong team,” Conte said.

“They are having a fantastic season and it will be tough to get three points. We have to try our best and avoid what happened against Southampton in the first 60 minutes. We have to avoid this if we want to keep the hope of finishing in the top four.”
