The Blues have been handed a lifeline in the top-four race after Tottenham Hotspur lost 3-2 to Premier League champions Manchester City at Wembley last weekend before Spurs were held to a 1-1 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion at Amex Stadium on Tuesday night.
The west London side are eight points behind fourth-placed Tottenham but Chelsea FC can move three points closer if the Blues win their game in hand against Burnley at Turf Moor on Thursday night.
Chelsea FC will be desperate to secure successive Premier League victories for the first time since 30 December.
The Blues will take on Premier League rivals Southampton in the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley this weekend.
Chelsea FC lost 2-1 to Arsenal in the FA Cup final last season to deny the Blues a double in Conte’s first season.
However, the Italian head coach is refusing to get carried away ahead of their Premier League clash at Burnley on Thursday night.
“First of all we have to finish this season in the best possible way, to look in the future is not right,” Conte told his pre-match media conference.
“We are struggling a lot in this season and we have to finish in the best position of the league and reach the final of the FA Cup. Our focus must be in the present, this is very important.”
Chelsea FC have won the Premier League title in two of the past three seasons under Jose Mourinho and then Conte.
