Antonio Conte has warned Tottenham Hotspur that Chelsea FC are refusing to give up on the possibility of a top-four finish.

The north London side have failed to win their last two Premier League games to leave the door slightly ajar for Chelsea FC to put a late run together.

Tottenham lost 3-1 to Premier League champions Manchester City at Wembley last weekend before a 1-1 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion on Tuesday night.

Chelsea FC were 2-1 winners against Burnley at Turf Moor on Thursday night to move to within five points of Spurs with four games to play.

Tottenham will take on Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Saturday before Chelsea FC face Southampton in the other last-four clash at the home of English football.

Speaking at his pre-match media conference ahead of their trip to Wembley this weekend, Conte sent a warning to Spurs about Chelsea FC’s challenge in the top-four race.

“If we think about the past for sure we have missed great chances to stay closer to them,” Conte said.

“The only way to go to keep is to try to get three points in every game from now until the end. It won’t be easy because there is a gap of five points with Tottenham, but we must try.”

The Blues signed Everton star Ross Barkley, AS Roma defender Emerson Palmieri and Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window.

Chelsea FC have won the Premier League title in two of the past three seasons under Jose Mourinho and Conte.
